Jeanie is a self-taught artist, and others say that she is inspired.  Jeanie has played the piano for most of her life, and she loves classical music.  Her interest in painting came much later.

One morning in June, 2004, Jeanie woke up with a vision in mind that she could hold a brush and create fine art.  She painted over 30 paintings her first year, and, since 2005, her work has been exhibited in juried fine art shows, galleries and private businesses.

Jeanie paints landscapes, florals and abstracts using brushes and palette knives on canvas, wood panels and Plexiglass.  She loves bright colors and depictions of energy, and she hopes that her art makes people happy and encourages positive energy, inspiration and motivation in their lives.

She has been able to start helping others with her art as well, and she donates her art to auctions that benefit needy children and cancer research.
